Timothy A. Smith

Timothy A. Smith, 60, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on August 30, 2021. He was born on February 4, 1961, to Richard and Doris Smith in Loudonville, OH.  Timothy moved to Punta Gorda in 1981 and was self-employed in lawn care, retiring in 2020.  He loved building mechanical things and tinkering.  Timothy especially enjoyed making everything look perfect and nice.  He loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed.  

Timothy will be deeply missed by his sister Anita Kay Smith Stroh; nieces Angela Jones, Michelle Taggart, Brittany Klingelhoefer; nephew Brandon Stroh; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Lee Smith and Doris Leah Easterday Smith Hans Cornett; grandparents Ralph and Pearl Smith and Isacc and Marie Easterday; brother-in-law Michael E. Stroh; and a baby brother. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Timothy’s name to Punta Gorda First Alliance Church.
