Priscilla "Pete" L. Dennis

July 24, 1954 — September 13, 2021

Priscilla "Pete" Dennis of Port Charlotte was born July 24, 1954, in Canton, Ohio to Betty and Robert Newell.  She spent most of her life in Charlotte County, Florida.  On September 13, 2021, Priscilla was reunited with her husband Edward Dennis who preceded her in death.  She served in many roles in her life; she was a nurse, owned a baseball card store (Pete's Sports Cards), and retired from Wal-Mart in 2016.  However, her most important role in life was being a mother and a grandmother.  She was mom and grandma to many, not just her own.  She always had an open heart and open home.  Priscilla was selfless, always putting others before herself. Hobbies included reading, scrapbooking, and taking terrible photos of everyone to share.  She only wanted 3 things in life, to be with her husband, for all her children to get along and for everyone to put away their laundry.  She will be most remembered for her generosity and love for everyone that crossed her path.

Priscilla is survived by her children; Rebecca Senat, Jason (Susan) Dennis, Kelly Torres, Michael (Dean Richards) Dennis, and Brittany Dennis. Her grandchildren; Isabelle, Logan, Madison, Mia, Sierra, Roslyn, Jonah, and Gage. Her sisters; Susan Boisvert and Tina (Dennis) Alicea.

Priscilla is also survived by the countless “bonus” children and grandchildren which she loved and treated as her own. She would want all her loved ones to know she loves you to the moon and back.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 25, 2021.  Please contact a family member for details.

In lieu of flowers, please create a special memory with your loved ones in her honor.
