Maxine E. Wilson

Maxine E. Wilson, 91, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on April 20, 2022. She was born on November 11, 1930, to Roy and Irene Kees in Rochester, MI. Maxine retired as a Retail Manager from Sears after 20 years of service. She relocated to Port Charlotte from Shelton, CT, and was a member of the Pilgrim United Church of Christ.

Maxine will be deeply missed by her daughters Cheri Koronkiewicz of Hawaii, Joy Ragusa (Michael) of Little River, SC, Julie Silk of Punta Gorda, and Jill Sarracco (Dominick) of Shelton, CT; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her loving sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald E. Wilson, of 62 years and her son, Mark Wilson.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice or the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County.
