John Till

John Till, 82, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was born on December 8, 1937, to John and Margaret Till in Newark, NJ.  John moved to Punta Gorda from Fernandina Beach in 1993 and became a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

John honorably served in the United States Air Force as an Airplane Mechanic.  Following his service, he continued his career working as a mechanic for Delta Airline for 30 years.  John also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and boating. 

John will be deeply missed by his wife Carol of 60 years; daughter Nicole Small (Tom) of Maine; sons Daniel Till of Alaska, Stephen Till (Gail) of South Carolina and John C. Till (Mitsuko) of Punta Gorda, Florida; brother Anton Till of Iowa; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

John will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery at a future date.
