Herbert J. Audet

Herbert J. Audet, 83, of Punta Gorda passed away May 6, 2007. He was born May 22, 1923 in Concord, NH to John A. and Alphonsine (Valliere) Audet. Herbert moved in 1994 to Lakewood Village in Punta Gorda. He served in the US Navy as an aviator during World War II and flew as a night pilot on a F6F Hellcat. Herbert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Marie P. Audet, daughters Joy Degnan of Concord, NH and Michele Audet of Atlanta, GA; son Richard Audet of Franklin, NH along with 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 12 at St. John Evangelist Church in Concord, NH.
