George A Arle

George A. Arle, 86, of Loves Park passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Bayfront Health in Punta Gorda, FL.  Born June 17, 1934, in Manitowoc, WI.  Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Married Joan Lones on June 26th, 1999.  Retired from WTVO after over 30 years of service.  After retirement, George and Joan enjoyed winters in Florida.  George attended church every Sunday as a member of St. Bridget’s Church in Loves Park and Sacred Heart Church in Punta Gorda.  George enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed playing cards, shuffleboard, dancing, fishing and volunteering at the Lazy Lagoon Hall maintaining the shuffleboard courts and calling bingo, always with a smile on his face.  George was always there to help anyway he could.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; brothers, Eugene & Joseph; sisters, Joan & Ruth; daughter, Cathy; son, Chris; grandchildren, Jennifer, Alyssa, & Corrisa; several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.  Predeceased by his parents; sister, Mary.
