Delores "Dee" C. Nickerson

Delores “Dee” C. Nickerson, 87, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on January 30, 2021.   She was born on June 5, 1933, to Eugene and Agnes Trostle in Gary, IN.  She attended Portage First United Methodist Church in Portage, IN and was a member of the Moose Lodge.  She moved to Punta Gorda from Ft. Myers in 2005 and attended Friendship United Methodist Church.

Dee will be deeply missed by her husband of 67 years, James Nickerson; daughter Christy King (Lance); son Jim Nickerson (Sue); sister Wanda Samuelson; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gene Trostle.
