August F. Werner

August F. Werner, 88, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on August 31, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1933, to August C. and Mildred Werner in Teaneck, NJ.  August honorable served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW.  He was a Manager and Systems Analyst for Equitable Life Insurance, retiring in 1990 and worked as a Loading Dock Manager for Sears Roebuck.  August moved to Port Charlotte in 1994 from North Plainfield, NJ, and became a member of the Murdock Baptist Church. 

August will be deeply missed by his sons August C. Werner and David Werner; brother Keith Werner; sister Judy Piotrowski; and grandchildren, August Keith Werner, Laura Werner, John Werner, Thomas Aprile, and Michael Aprile.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ellen, and daughter Wendy Aprile.
