Wanda Lynette Barnes

Wanda “Lynn” Barnes, 80, of North Port, FL formerly of Huntington, IN passed away October 14, 2007. She was born January 4, 1927 in Grant County, IN to Frank and Edna (Reed) Farley. Lynn was a 3rd Grade Teacher for Lancaster Elementary School for 22 years. She was a member of the Indiana Teachers Association, Huntington Bridge Club and Jockey Club in North Port. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 62 years, Willard Barnes; son Monte Barnes of North Port; daughter, Lou Ann Brown of Cedar Park, TX; sisters Marcille (Albert) Pulley of Warren, IN and Pauline Kuebler of Evansville, IN; granddaughter Sara Brown; grandsons Sam Brown, Curtis Barnes, Dennis Brown, Jon Brown, Tom Brown and Drew Brown. Lynn was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Burial will be held at later date.
