Walter A. Burkhardt

Walter A. Burkhardt, 56, of Punta Gorda passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. He was born August 19, 1957 in Newark, New Jersey. Walter was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed music and cooking for family and friends. Walter will be greatly missed by his wife of 6 years, Debbie; parents, Walter and Elizabeth Burkhardt; sister, Donna (Tom) Grubbs; niece, Jessica and nephews, Joshua and Jacob. A memorial service to celebrate Walter's life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Punta Gorda.
