Virginia L. Dudley

October 4, 1939 — January 19, 2015

Virginia Lee Dudley, 75, of Punta Gorda, FL peacefully passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 with her husband Willis by her side. She was born on October 4, 1939 in Kennett, Missouri to Everett and Dorothy Hatch. In 1956 they moved to Ashland, Ohio where they owned Dudley's Garage and Salvage Yard. They sold their business and moved to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1984, Virginia later retired from Wal-Mart after 15 years of service. She enjoyed cross word puzzles, crocheting, fishing, playing her organ and playing guitars with her brother's Harley Ray and Jerry Don. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her husband of 59 years, Willis; two loving daughters, Debbie Bursley and Jamey (Mark) Roland; grandchildren, Melissa (Nick) Brockway, Christopher (Hayley) Bursley, Nicole (Jeff) Stockland and Brett Thomas (Samantha) Bursley; great grandchildren, Jackson Brockway, Madyson Brockway, Alexis Stockland and Jase Stockland. She is also survived by her sisters, Shirley Robertson and Donita Krueger and brother Jerry Don Hatch. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harley Ray and sister, Diane. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations made to The Alzheimer's Association or Hope Hospice of Cape Coral, FL. Arrangements are by Larry Taylor Funeral.
