Vicki A. Staubach

March 23, 1943 — November 10, 2023

Vicki Ann Staubach was born March 23, 1943 and left this earth on November 10, 2023.

Vicki was a social butterfly.  She loved being around people and chatting!  Everyone was always welcome at her home on any day for any occasion, or for no occasion at all. She never met a stranger.

She taught her kids to love everyone regardless.  She was often an encourager.  She volunteered a lot.

Vicki was a proud member of the The Ohio Child Conservation League (OCCL) when her children were younger, a non-profit,

educational organization interested in conserving our greatest asset – our children.

She was a devoted daughter, spending every Monday with her mom throughout her entire adult life.

She was a licensed cosmetologist and the neighborhood “barber”. When her kids were in middle school/high school, she started working part time at House of Jacques in Erlanger and later full time at Hairphanalia in Ft Wright.

She could often be found dancing and singing as she was cooking. Vicki loved trying new recipes.

She could always ice skate and roller skate better than her children, something she mastered as a child in the 1950’s. She loved gathering with her friends for bowling at Lookout Bowl.

Sewing was a pastime, making clothes for her kids and cousins, and drapes for the house. She even made some homecoming dresses over the years.

She loved to travel, and became a travel agent in the 1990’s. With her husband Bob they traveled to Ireland, UK, Germany, Hawaii, all the Caribbean islands and many other destinations over the years.

She was married to Michael E Ireland for 23 years, and with Bob Staubach for 37 years.  Bob and Vicki moved to Punta Gorda, Florida in 2014.

She graduated from Dixie Highschool in 1961.

She joined the Moose in 1994, holding almost every office in her chapter, working her way to became the Deputy Grand Regent for the state of Kentucky. It was something she was truly passionate about.

She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Franklin “Doc” and Lucille Docterman, and her brother Terry Docterman.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Robert Staubach, children Tara (Kelvin) Davidson, Kevin (Gail) Ireland, Mickey (Amy) Ireland, Jimmy (Candy) Staubach, Patty (Hank) Goforth, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 on the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kevin and Gail Ireland's, Saturday, December 2nd from 3 pm to 8 pm, 2930 Sugar Camp Rd, Independence, KY 41017.
