Shirley M. Mcfarland

Shirley M. McFarland, 80, of Springfield, IL passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was the daughter of Leroy and Ruby McFarland, born on September 30, 1934 in Girard, IL. Shirley was a clerk with the Dept of Revenue State of Illinois and retired after 36 years. She will be remembered as a loving Aunt and a dear friend. Shirley will be greatly missed by her nieces, Cheryon Huff and Nancy Kwasnik; nephews, Fred McFarland, David McFarland, Ron Eldridge and Mike Eldridge ; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and friends especially her best friend, Georgia Scobell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, D. Wayne McFarland and sister, Doris Eldridge. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Girard, IL.
