Shirley A. Berkshire

Shirley A. Berkshire, 81, of Punta Gorda, passed away on February 26, 2016 in Punta Gorda, Fl. Born in Baltimore, MD, on July 30, 1934, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Kruse. Shirley was a member of Friendship United Methodist. She will be remembered for her hospitality and generous heart. Shirley is survived by her five children: David Hans, Jerry (Ester) Hans, Joe (Carol) Habel, Marybeth (Patrick) Spivey, Kim (Tom) Brouillette, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her Husband of 25 years, Charles. A Celebration of life will be held Monday Feb. 29, 2016 at 5PM at Friendship United Methodist Church, 12275 Paramount Drive, Punta Gorda 33950. Burial will be in Maryland.
