Sharon Denise Campbell

Sharon Denise Campbell, 52, of Port Charlotte passed away April 14, 2010. She was the daughter of J. C. and Lillie Bell (Collins) Bennett, born March 25, 1958 in Green Cove Springs, FL. Sharon came to Port Charlotte in 2003 from Auburn, AL and was a teacher's aide for special needs students at Charlotte Harbor School. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sharon enjoyed an active life of spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, shopping, fishing and shrimping. Sharon will be greatly missed by her daughters, Ebony (Andrew) Williams, and Asha Campbell; sons, Wayne Campbell, Jr. and Omari Campbell; mother, Lillie Bell Bennett; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Wayne Campbell, and her father, J. C. Bennett. The family will receive friends 11:00-Noon Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte, with the service in celebration of Sharon's life beginning at Noon.
