Sarah C. Ferry

Sarah Click Ferry, 101, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Atlanta, GA passed away July 27, 2015. She was the daughter of Eugene and Lillian Click, born September 4, 1913 in Elkin, N.C. Sarah attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Mary Baldwin College and Yale University. Sarah was a Daughter of the American Revolution and Phi Beta Kapa member at Yale University. She was a proud homemaker and raised 2 sons. Sarah was an active church member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Atlanta, GA, and First Presbyterian Church, Punta Gorda, FL. She enjoyed various drama and book clubs. Sarah will be greatly missed by her son & daughter in law, Alan Eugene Ferry & Stephanie Ferry of Castle Rock, CO; daughter in law, Joan S. Ferry of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren, Christine Ferry LeGros, Joseph Ferry, Jr., Alexander Ferry and Matthew Ferry; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alan Ferry; son, Joseph Ferry; daughter in law, Mary Jane Daly Ferry; sisters, Nancy Dillon and Jean Heywood.
