Samuel Lunenfeld

Samuel Lunenfeld, 79, of Port Charlotte formerly of Catskills, New York passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009. He was the son of Joseph and Helen Lunenfeld, born December 9, 1930 in New York City, New York. Sam served in the US Navy and worked as a Bellman at The Radisson Lexington Hotel in New York. He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors and former Commander American Legion in New York City. Sam will be greatly missed by his daughters, Terry Lunenfield of Punta Gorda and Dawn Harrison of Fayettville, NC; son, Ralph Lunenfeld of Queens, New York and grandson, Joseph. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella and son, Steven. A visitation will be 11:30 to 12:00pm, Thursday, December 31, 2009 with a celebration of Sam's life to follow at 12:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
