Roy E. Jackson

Roy E. Jackson, 75, of Venice passed away September 18, 2007. He was born March 26, 1932 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Walter and Mary (Dixon) Jackson. Roy served in the US Army, retiring in 1998. He came to Venice from Jackson, GA. Roy will be greatly missed by his wife, Rosa Q. Jackson; sons, David V. Jackson of Sharboro, NC, and Zachery J. Jackson of McDonough, GA; step-daughter, Katherine F. Hobbs of Hampton, GA; step-sons, G. Guy Quinn of Bonita Springs, FL and Jimmy P. Quinn of Venice; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette J. Jackson. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 pm Thursday, September 20 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Center, 256 Nokomis Avenue, South, Venice.
