Ronald F. Kane

Ronald F. Kane, 74, of Punta Gorda passed away November 24, 2007 at his resident. He was born April 27, 1933 in Canada to Frank and Evelyn (Higgins) Kane. Ronald worked for General Motors in Flint, MI as a pattern maker before retiring in 1970 and moving to Punta Gorda. Ronald’s passion was playing golf. He was a member of the Moose and Elks Lodge. Ronald will be greatly missed by his wife, Shirley; sons, Greg Kane of Cadillac, MI, Mike Kane of Hampton, VA, and Scott Kane of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Bonnie (Brian) Bird of Holly, MI, Lori (Kevin) Redman of Taylorsville, KY, Sherrie (Ken) Evans of South Lyon, MI, Debbie (Bob) Miron of Lehigh Acres, FL and Beckie (Jason) Jordan of Novi, MI; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers Herb Kane and Brian (Gail) Kane both of Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Evelyn, sister, Ruth Kane. No services are planned at this time.
