Robert Wain Ruth, Sr.

Robert Wain Ruth, Sr, 62, of Punta Gorda passed away January 19, 2008. He was born November 29, 1945 in Arcadia, Florida to Robert and Mildred (Boyer) Ruth. Wain served in the US Navy and then worked for the City of Punta Gorda for 31 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Dottie; son, Robert (Angie) Ruth; grandchildren Robert (Lois), Brandon and Kyle; great-grandchild, Nathaniel; 11 nieces and nephews and many friends and extended family. Wain was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ferris Collins. A gathering of family and friends will be at 4:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bob Carlson officiating.
