Robert Porter Foye

Robert "Bob" Porter Foye, 77, of Punta Gorda passed away March 13, 2008. He was born November 6, 1930 in Boston, MA to L. Curtis and Beulah May (Newell) Foye. Bob was the Manager for Chrysler Corp before retiring. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Foster Parents Association and Square Dance Club. Bob moved from Ocala, Florida to Punta Gorda in April 2003. He will be greatly missed by his companion of 5 years, Jean Creech; daughters, Carrie Lowenthal of Rosehill, NC, Vickie Brady of Winder, GA and Yolanda Kirby of Edgewood, MD; sons Deen Foye of Sealy, TX and Rob Foye of Montgomery, AL; brother, Arthur Foye of Epsom, NH; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:00 am, Monday, March 17, 2008 with a celebration of Bob's life to follow at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Port Charlotte.
