Robert M. Beckman, Sr.

Robert "Bob" Beckman, Sr., 57, of Punta Gorda passed away June 26, 2014. He was the son of Robert and Caroline Beckman, born January 7, 1957 in Cincinnati, OH. Bob was the owner/operator of Beckman Concrete & Masonry. He attended Deep Creek Church. Bob divided his time between working and spending time with his family, kids and grandkids. He was very serious about his work and about having fun making memories with his family. Bob loved going fishing, diving and boating. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife of 16 years, Kelley; daughters, Machayla Beckman of Punta Gorda, Beverley Beckman of Tampa and Jessica Howard of TN; sons, Robert Michael Beckman, Jr. of Punta Gorda and Ty Clawson of North Port; brothers, Donald Kelly Beckman of Intersession City, FL and Thomas Worley of VA; sister, Catherine Ann Beckman of Lake Helen, FL and 10 grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 6pm, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Deep Creek Community Church.
