Robert H. Fortin

Robert H. Fortin, 73, of Punta Gorda passed away November 3, 2009. He was born January 28, 1936 in Weymouth, MA and served in the US Navy. Robert was the owner of Glass Shop of Grand Haven, MI. He was a member of Punta Gorda Elks Lodge #2606, Lifetime member of Grand Haven Eagles Lodge. Robert enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 26 years, Joanne; daughter, Denise (Gary) Lowry of Mt. Plier, OH, Bonnie (Clinton) Gregory of Holland, OH and Dawn (Dan) Gaymer of Temperance, MI; step-daughters, Theresa (Timothy) McKee of Venice, FL and Cathy (Dan) Beattie of Canton, MI; son, Bob (Pam) of Rockford, MI; step-son, Anthony (Catherine) Mahynski of Hudsonville, MI; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of Robert's life will be 3:00 pm, Friday, November 6, 2009 with Rev. Bill Klosner officiating.
