Robert D. Kingsbury, Sr.

Robert D. Kingsbury, Sr., 78, of Punta Gorda passed away September 30, 2008. He was born January 2, 1930 in Elmhurst, New York to Harold and Genevive (Mower) Kingsbury. Robert was a retired parts clerk at Laguardia International and Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. He moved from New York to Ft Lauderdale in 1965 and then to Punta Gorda in 1986. Robert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Annamaria (Michael) Ruark; son, Paul (Lisa) Kingsbury of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters, Florence Levato, Irene Price and Thelma Sehy all of Florida; 10 grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Florence T. Kingsbury and son, Robert D. Kingsbury, Jr. A Gathering of family and friends will be 3:00 to 4:00 pm, Monday, October 6, 2008 with a service to follow at 4:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
