Robert B. Christy

Robert B. Christy, 81, of Port Charlotte passed away January 3, 2008. He was born March 14, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Bernard and Dolly (Olson) Christy. Robert served in the US Navy during WWII on board the USS Yorktown. He was a retired Sergeant with Edina Police Department and moved to Port Charlotte from Edina, MN in 1969. Robert was a member of Murdock Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed by his loving and caring wife of 55 years, Luella “Chris” Christy. No service is planned at this time.
