Richard L. Kinsey

Richard Lee Kinsey, 79, of Punta Gorda passed away December 4, 2008. He was born October 2, 1929 in Harlan, IN to Wilton and Lelia (Nuttle) Kinsey. Richard served in the US Marines during the Korean War. He was a retired plant superintendent and moved from Elk Grove Village, IL to Punta Gorda in 1994. Richard was a member of the Punta Gorda Elks and a Director at Lakewood Homeowners Association. He enjoyed playing golf, landscaping and was an avid race car fan. Richard will be greatly missed by his wife of 24 years, Marian; daughters, Leila Kushar of Carmel, IN, Patricia Patti of Henderson, NV, Denise Kinsey of Naperville, IL, Deborah Higgins of Charlottesville, VA and Christine Fleming of LaGrange, IL; sons, Richard Kinsey II of Westwood, CA, Michael Higgins of Schaumburg, IL and Curtis Higgins of Algonquin, IL and 10 grandchildren.
