Richard J. Manna

Richard J. Manna of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on March 20th, 2021. Rick was born February 5th, 1954 in the city of Milwaukee WI. He attended Nicoleigh High School and UW Oshkosh. He relocated to Punta Gorda, Florida in 2019 after retiring from ZF Industries as the Senior Manager of Services and Operations after 26 years of service. Rick was a fierce friend to many. Whether it was on his boat or in the presence of good company, you could be sure joy and merriment was had in part due to his famous Margaritas.                           

Rick will be deeply missed by his wife of 18 years Laurie Manna. Treasured brother to Kathryn (Michael) Manna and Michael (Christine) Manna. He leaves his children Jenna Harris, Justin (Annette) Harris, and Alex (Mairead) Manna-Harrington. Adored grandfather to granddaughter Adalae Manna and grandsons Wesley Harrington and Ethan Harris. He also left behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Rick was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Marjorie Manna.              

On March 25th a small family visitation will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Wisconsin for friends and family to celebrate the life of a truly great man. In lieu of flowers please donate to The Parkinson’s Foundation.
