Philomena Fannie C. Costa

Philomena "Fannie C." Costa, 91, entered into God's care on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born May 20, 1923 in Bordentown, NJ to Augusto and Rosa (nee Guisti) Mosca. Fannie lived most of her life in Bordentown until moving to Port Charlotte, FL in 2007. She retired from the State of New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Bordentown, and St. Mary's Rosary Alter Society, Friends of St. Mary's and St. Mary's Senior Citizen Club. Fannie was past President and member of Bordentown Senior Citizens, Bordentown Township Senior Citizens and former member of Bordentown City Democrat Club. She was an avid Bingo player especially at the Royal Palm Retirement Center in Port Charlotte, FL. Fannie will be greatly missed by her sons, John A. (Paulette) Costa of Trenton, NJ, Vincent A. (Joyce) Costa of Punta Gorda, FL and Anthony V. (Emma) Costa of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter, Rosepatricia (John) Bird of Columbus, NJ; grandchildren, Maria Nicole, Annette Renee, Michael John (Diane), Brian David (Melanie), Lauren Blair, Michael Anthony and Isabella Philomena Costa, Rose Danielle (Jason) Heilemann, Amerigo and John Anthony Paoline, Brian (Jennifer) Pellegrino; 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, John Costa; brother, Paul Mosca; great-grandchildren, John David and Patrick Michael Costa. A service will be held later in Bordentown, NJ.
