Paul A. Huckstein, Sr.

Paul A. Huckestein, Sr., 79, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. He was the son of Paul and Florence (nee Drake) Huckestein, born September 19, 1933 in Hicksville, NY. Paul served in the US Navy on the Willis A. Lee destroyer during the Korean War. He was a volunteer Fireman for 10 years in Hicksville, NY. Paul, Sally and their 4 children moved to Port Charlotte in 1976. He enjoyed playing softball, league bowling and was a past member of the Moose. Paul will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Paul will be greatly missed by his wife, Sally; son, Paul (Debbie) Huckestein, Jr.; daughters Jo (Mike) Fassl, Barbara (Julio) Gonzalez, Susan (Edgar) Sagel; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
