Norma L. Willett

Norma L. Willett, 88, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on May 25, 2022. She was born on June 18, 1933, to John Amos and Nellie Plumley in Glade, West Virginia. Norma moved to Punta Gorda in 1987 from Buckhannon, WV where she was a member of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary and a parishioner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She became a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda.

Norma will be deeply missed by her husband of 55 years James R. Willett; sons Douglas R. Willett, Kenneth S. Willett, and Dennis J. Willett; brothers John M. Plumley and Fred Plumley of Hinton, WV; and her 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Thomas Plumley.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda, FL. Burial will take place at a future date.
