Norma J. Dinnan

Norma Jeanne Dinnan, 64, of Port Charlotte passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010. She was the daughter of Gordon and June Strang, born October 1, 1945 in Port Allegany, PA. Norma was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. She worked for Walmart and was known as Mom or Grandma to many and was the lady who offered hugs as part of her greeting. Norma loved life and filled those around her with comfort, joy and nothing came between her and her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Gary; mother, June Strang of Sarasota; daughter, Sheila Myers of Sarasota; sisters, Carla Young of Sarasota and Elena Johnson of NC; brother, Mickey Strang of TN and Mike Strang of NC. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 am, Saturday, September 18, 2010 with a celebration of Norma's life to follow at 11:00 am at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
