Mildred M. Sherwood

Mildred M. Sherwood, 84, of Nokomis passed away August 8, 2008. She was born May 18, 1924 in West Seneca, New York to Fred and Mabel (Mohr) Berger. Mildred moved from Lockport, New York to Nokomis eight years ago. She was a member of First Baptist of Lockport, NY and Venice Nokomis Methodist Church. Mildred will be greatly missed by her husband of 62 years, William; daughter Patricia Ann Jenks of Cleveland, Ohio; sons, Kenneth of Sanborn, NY, David of Venice, FL and Douglas of Newfane, NY; brothers, Edward Berger and Richard Berger both of NY, Robert Berger of CA and Fredrick Berger of North Port, FL; sisters, Eleanor Piper and Mickey Benthin both of NY; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, August 18, 2008 at Venice Nokomis Methodist Church, 206 Palm Avenue, Nokomis, FL. Memorial donations may be made to Venice Nokomis Methodist Church.
