Mary Lou Lemmons

Mary Lou Lemmons, 88, of Port Charlotte, FL formerly of St. Louis, MO passed away Wed., June 25, 2014. She was the daughter of M. H. and Margery Hill, born March 2, 1926 in Van Buren, MO. Mary Lou was the first full time female Church Music Director in the State of Missouri in the Missouri Baptist Convention. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. Mary Lou will be greatly missed by her daughter, Shelly Lemmons of Englewood, FL; sons, Thomas (Joy) Lemmons of Steelville, MO and Joseph (Vickie) Lemmons of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, Monte H. Hill of San Diego, CA and grandchildren, Sam, Caleb, Shelby Lemmons, Rachel Jaeggi, Casey and Dalton Langford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel. A visitation will be from 10 to 11am, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 with a funeral service to follow at 11am at Shepard Funeral Chapel in St. Louis, MO.
