Mary Ann Jones

MaryAnn Jones, 63, of Punta Gorda passed away July 16, 2007. She was born April 11, 1944 in Gloucester, MA to Lawrence and Frances (Testeverde) Scola. MaryAnn worked as a salesperson in Communications before retiring and moving to Punta Gorda from Rockport, MA in 1999. She was a member of Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Rockport, MA and the Red Hats Society. MaryAnn will be greatly missed by her husband of 23 years, Charles; son Edward (Lynn) DiPietro of Nahant, MA; sisters Catherine (Robert) Cavenaugh of Ipswich, MA, Rose (Joe) Misuraca and Phyliss (Thomas) Misuraca both of Gloucester, MA and Pauline (Leo) Linquata of Springhill, FL; brothers Joseph (Lia) Scola, John (Kathleen) Scola, Larry (Phyliss) Scola all of Gloucester, MA, Peter (Linda) Scola of San Diego, CA and Paul (Maureen) Scola of Port Charlotte, FL along with numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of MaryAnn’s life will be 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Dr. Rick Sloan officiating.
