Mark Edward Burlison

Mark Edward Burlison, 53, of Port Charlotte passed away February 3, 2007. He was born September 20, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT to Edward and Alice (Woerner) Burlison. He served in the US Navy on the USS Milwaukee and toured Spain, Philippines, Greece and Vietnam. Mark received the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. He was the owner of Marjo’s Pizzeria in Port Charlotte for six years. Mark will be greatly missed by his daughter, Miranda Burlison of North Port, FL; son, Mark Burlison, Jr of East Haven, CT; mom, Alice Burlison; sister Sandra Martinez of Port Charlotte; brother, Edward (Charlene) Burlison of Port Charlotte; nieces, Stacy Parinson and Nicole Burlison; nephews, Garret Cooley, Edward Burlison, II and Christopher Burlison; grandnephew, Austin III; grandniece, Maelani. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Burlison. The family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:00 am, Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with a celebration of Mark’s life to follow at 11:00 am.
