Margarita Ortega

Margarita Ortega, 78, of North Port passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010. She was the daughter of Santiago and Felicita (Rosato) Burgos, born March 23, 1932 in Puerto Rico. Margarita was a bookkeeper in the medical field for many years before retiring. She was a member of Murdock Baptist Church and moved to this area from New Jersey in 1987. Margarita enjoyed dancing, crocheting and was a avid reader. She loved life and filled those around her with her with comfort and joy. She was especially devoted to her family and grandkids. Margarita will be greatly missed by her daughters, Emyra (Johnny) Rojas and Amy (Scott) DePriester; son, Herman (Mary) Ortega; grandkids, Tristyn, Stephanie, Austin, Evynne, Spencer, Joseph, William, Melanie and Colin.
