Margaret O'Rourke

Margaret O'Rourke, 74 of Port Charlotte passed away August 7, 2010. She was the daughter of James and Geneveve (Lucas) Van DenHouten, born July 12, 1936 in Albany, NY. Margaret was a bookkeeper for Van's Equipment before retiring; she moved to this area from Albany, NY in 2008. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Margaret enjoyed gardening, animals and loved to play golf. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Charles; daughters, Mary Jane (Patrick) O'Brien of Albany, NY; Liz O'Rourke, DVM and Don Conley of Arvada, CO and Pam (Scott) Debus of Port Charlotte; sons, C.J. (Francis) of Loudonville, NY and James (Stacy) O'Rourke of Stewartstown, PA; one brother and one sister and 10 grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by granddaughter, Maureen.
