Lawrence A. Europa

Lawrence A. Europa, 62, of Punta Gorda passed away, Tuesday, January 6, 2015. He was the son of Jess and Florence Europa, born June 16, 1952 in Chicago, IL. Lawrence was a US Army Veteran and was a retired Police Officer with the City of Sarasota. He enjoyed fishing, was a gun enthusiast, and a Chicago Bears Football fan. Lawrence will be greatly missed by his son, Alex of Kingsland, GA; brothers, James (Shelly) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Michael (Laura) of Essie, KY and Richard (Elizabeth) of El Dorado, IL; and sister, Barbara Ann (Charles) Smith of Essie, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife Angelia Renee Europa. A memorial service to celebrate Lawrence's life will be held at 1pm, Friday, January 16, 2015 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. Inurnment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
