Kristine Sears

Kristine Sears (Keeney), age 66, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Thursday, November 18,
2021. A resident of Manchester, CT for most of her life, Kristine was born on November 29,
1954 to the late Gordon and Helen (Conn) Keeney. Kristine was a devoted wife, mother, and
friend to many; taking great joy in cooking for others and entertaining family and friends.


Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband Michael J. Sears; daughters
Stacie Lautenbach Anderson and son-in-law Scott Anderson, and Meghan Sears; sons Mike P.
Sears and Marc Sears; her sister Barbara Longo and her husband Chris Longo, brother Steven
Keeney and his partner Anna Washington. Kristine was affectionately known as “Grandma” to
eleven grandchildren; Sydney Sears, Cole Sears, Lexi Eliades, Julian Figueroa, Anna Sears,
Maggie Sears, Helena Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Natalie Anderson, Gracie Sears, and Olivia
Graboski. She is known as “G.G.” to great-granddaughter Lakely Hueston. Kristine is also
survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who have many happy memories growing up in
her company. Kristine was predeceased by daughter Jill Lautenbach who passed away in 2017.


Kristine’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 41
Park Street, Manchester on Saturday, January 29th at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends
at the church before the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private. Kristine’s family
would like to recognize and thank the supportive staff at Tidewell Hospice House in Port
Charlotte, FL. for the fantastic care given to Kristine and her family. Memorial donations may be
in Kristine’s name to Tidewell Hospice House, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL, 33952.
