Kenneth Francis Rothwell

Kenneth Francis "Ken" Rothwell, 73, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. He was born June 12, 1940 in Acushnet, MA to Frederick and Mildred Rothwell. Ken served in the military service for 20 years with two tours of Vietnam. He retired from Verizon after 30 years and moved from MA to this area 12 years ago. Ken will be greatly missed by his wife, Doris of 47 years; daughter, Dorianna (Samuel Selig) Rothwell of Port Charlotte; sons, Danny Rothwell of NC and Peter Rothwell of Port Charlotte; brothers, Frederick Rothwell of MS, Danny Rothwell of CT, Richard Rothwell of MS and Franklin Rothwell of CA; sisters, Jenny Rothwell and Shirley Cabral both of MA; grandchildren, Crystal, Amanda and Kelsey. A visitation and service was on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
