Kenneth E Bowers

Kenneth E. Bowers, 70, of Punta Gorda passed away December 5, 2008. He was born December 28, 1937 in Spring Valley, IL to Edward and Alice (Shimkus) Bowers. Kenneth was a US Navy Veteran and retired from ATC Nymold. He moved from Parma, Ohio to Punta Gorda in 2003 and enjoyed playing golf. Kenneth will be greatly missed by his wife of 49 years, Joann; sons, Jeff (Terri) Bowers of Brunswick, OH and Tom (Nancy) Bowers of Lakeside Park, KY; brother, William Bowers of LaSalle, IL; sister, Maryanne Wendy of LaSalle, IL; grandchildren, Stephanie and Andrew. A memorial service in celebration of Kenneth's life will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 12, 2008 at Blue Heron Pines Clubhouse in Punta Gorda.
