Kenneth Beryl Galer

Kenneth Beryl Galer, 70, of North Port passed away November 7, 2006 after a long illness. He was born October 31, 1936 in Kalamazoo, MI. Ken served in the US Army from 1953-1955 as a member of the 82nd Airborne. He was a longtime resident of Connecticut prior to moving to Florida with his wife, Gail, in 2002. Ken will be greatly missed by his wife, Gail B. Galer of North Port; daughter, Suzan G. Mills of North Port; sons, Kenneth J. Galer of Brookfield, CT and David H. Galer of Shelton, CT; grandchildren, Meghan Galer, Bryan Galer, and Nicholas Galer; brother, Merrill Galer of Ansonia, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
