Kathleen F. Beaver

Kathleen F. "Kathy" Beaver, 64, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was the daughter of Walter and Rose (nee Taylor) Bass, born August 3, 1948 in Akron, Ohio. Kathy moved from Akron, Ohio in 1979 to Punta Gorda. She was the owner and operator of Kathy B's Ice Cream Shop in Punta Gorda. Kathy will be greatly missed by her husband of 30 years, Glenn; mom, Rose Bass; daughters, Donna (Mel) Stewart and Peggy (Chuck) Leasure; step-daughter, Bonnie (Charlie) Thompson; sisters, Michelle (Randy) Ball, Eva Marie Bass, Donna (Ross) Furry and Ginny (Frank) Fleck; ten grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; daughter, Jennifer Slater and step-son, Robert H. Beaver. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
