Julia A. Connelly

Julia A. Connelly, 78, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away July 15, 2016. She was the daughter of Jacob and Julie Thurner, born July 10, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA. Julia will always be remembered for her gentleness and kindness. She was a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and loved the rosary. Julia enjoyed playing cards and was a past Red Cross Volunteer. Julia will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Joseph Connelly; mother of Joyce (Robert) Beer, Kathleen Connelly, Joseph (Denise) Connelly, Jr., Christopher (Lillian) Connelly, James Connelly and Patricia (Dustin) Robinson; 19 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Jackie Brown; brother, Jacob Thurner and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A service will be at a later date. Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown with a celebration of Julia's life to follow at 10:am.
