Jose M. Garcia, Jr.

Jose M. Garcia, Jr., 39, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on May 16, 2020. He was born on November 13, 1980, to Jose Sr. and Ana Albelo in Bayshore, NY.  Jose moved to Port Charlotte in 2017 from Long Island, New York.   

Jose was a funny guy, savvy with his use of words and a hustler at heart.  Growing up, he and his siblings would venture into pool halls and his love of the sport would continue for many years.  His wit on the table as a pool shark led to many wins and travels.  Jose was a simple man and appreciated things with style like his fitted hats, sneakers, and watches. For him, binge-watching Law & Order while eating pizza or his favorite chicken cutlet parm on the couch was a perfect place to be. 

Jose always said he had one mother, but that he was blessed with 5 aunts who also loved and raised him like their own.  He was always very close with his brother, sister, and cousins.  For Jose, his family was everything.  To him, his mother was his best friend and he loved her endlessly.      

Jose will be deeply missed by his mother Ana; sister Darlene; brother Kenneth; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
