John Holicki

John Holicki, 87, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away October 24, 2015. He was the son of Jacob and Mary Holicki, born November 26, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. John served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and American Legion. John was an accomplished bowler and an avid golfer. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends who will miss him greatly. John is survived by his daughter in law, Barbara Cuip; step-daughter, Margie Blackwell; step-son, John Percifield; step-grandchildren, Jonathan Cuip, Andrea McMahon and Amber Nunn, Phebe Westby, Japhy Blackwell and Carrie Hussey. He was preceded in death by his wives, Eleanor and Betty; step-son, Michael Cuip, brother, Albert and sister, Anne Dennis. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 2 pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation with celebration of John's life to follow at 2 pm.
