John F. Finn Jr.

John F. Finn Jr.,78, of North Port, FL passed away on October 31, 2021. He was born on July 17, 1943, to John and Elizabeth Finn in Poughkeepsie, NY.

John is survived by daughter Marion (Joseph) Vandermark of North Port, FL; sons Harold (Ann) Dedrick of Punta Gorda, FL, Richard (April) Dedrick of Punta Gorda, FL, Thomas (Linda) Dedrick of Milton, NY, Gregory (Gail) Dedrick of Highland, NY and 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Arlene Finn.

John served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the New York State Department of Transportation before his retirement. He enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with family but most of all he enjoyed building with Legos.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
