John Emil Seyfried

John Emil Seyfried, 82, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away October 9, 2016. He was born September 4, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH to Conrad and Hazel Seyfried. John graduated from Valparaiso Technical Institute and served in the US Air Force. He worked and lived in many different places and retired as Director of QA for US Army from Sharpe Army Depot, Stockton, CA after 32 years of Government Service. John will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years, Shirley; daughter, Rawnie Rae (Randy) Cossins of Grants Pass, OR; son, Russell John (Stephanie) Seyfried of Fredericksburg, VA; grandsons, Nicholas, Jacob, Zachary and Caleb and sister, Virginia Wagner of Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Conrad K. Seyfried. No service planned. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
