John E. Wiseman

John E. Wiseman, 87, of Port Charlotte passed away October 20, 2009. He was the son of Harold and Henrietta (Nagle) Wiseman, born January 8, 1923 in Youngstown, OH. John served in the US Army during WWII and received the Bronze Star. He was the owner of ITT Manufacturing in Bloomfield, NY and came to Port Charlotte from Fairport, NY in 1986. John was a member of F&AM Lodge 163 in East Rochester NY, and First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte. He enjoyed playing golf, being a Ham Radio operator, computers, and finance. John will be greatly missed by his wife of 10 years, Gloria; daughter, Barbara (Kevin) Savage of Chester, VA; sons, Douglas Wiseman of Hopewell, NY and Kenneth Wiseman of San Luis Obispo, CA; sister, Sally Wiseman of Ohio; and three grandchildren. A service was held. The family requests memorial donations be made to TideWell Hospice, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
