John D. Calendine

John Calendine, 68, of Punta Gorda passed away on October 5, 2014. He was the son of Gerald and Catherine (Barnes) Calendine, born April 14, 1946 in, Baltimore, MD. He worked for the Charlotte County as a Special Technician 3. He enjoyed collecting fish for his Saltwater Aquarium and loved motorcycles. John will be greatly missed by his wife Marie of 3 1/2 years; daughter Crystal (Ryan) Carlino of PA; sons Travis (summer) Calendine of TX, John Calendine , Jr. W.VA and sister Betty Butcher of VA. John has 9 grandchildren; Special friends Alan Blows of U.K. and from the County and City of Punta Gorda. A service in celebration of John's life will take place at 4:00pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
